Time for a new update. The Multi Server Checker has been optimized for Battlefield 2142. A few problems which have been reported in the forums have been fixed (big thanks to Churrasco and Mudface) and support for coop-mode has been added.

Today also Scott released a new version of the Nuke Module version of the Multi Server Checker, including a block. This version is supposed to be fully compatible with the latest Battlefield 2 changes.

Quick Server Info v2.0 released. The script can now handle all current and hopefully also the coming GameSpy query protocol and also was extended by some new features, like the new template engine that allows you to fully adjust the layout to your wishes very easily.

EA/GameSpy have changed the query protocol again, since the in-game server browser couldn't handle the changes being made to query. Read more details here. The Multi Server Checker had to be adjusted to these new changes, and is now availabe as version v2.23.

With the new Battlefield 2 version v1.3, which was released yesterday,
EA/GameSpy have introduced a new GameSpy Query protocol, that with it's new challenge method provides more security against DDoS attacks, since it makes UDP spoofing more difficult or even impossible. Security specialist like Luigi Auriemma have asked for this already for years. The Multi Server Checker has been updated with the new protocol, the Quick Server Info script will follow soon.

A new version (v2.1) of the Battlefield 2 Stats script has been finished. Main new feature is a popup for each award that shows the requirements, how to get it. Also a few other problems and issues have been solved.

Version v2.0 of the Battlefield 2 Stats script released. It supports the new Euro Forces booster pack and brings some new improvements, like the display of unlocks.

Version v1.1 of the Battlefield 2 Stats Query script released today. It includes many bug-fixes and new features, like a buddy- , top 10 and last viewed list, an alternative query method (to also make it work on webspaces which had problems before), a search function and many more new functions.

The Battlefield 2 Special Forces add-on also requires some additions to my scripts, to fully support all the new features. The Battlefield 2 Stats Query already shows the new awards, the rest will follow soon.

I have written the Battlefield 2 Stats Query script already a while ago, but didn't make it public yet. I think it works nicely and maybe you will like it, too. So here it is. For now only as online version and not for download yet, but this will probably change soon. Check it out.

There were still a few smaller bugs left in the Server Checker that are fixed in this version. First of all I overlooked that the little stats-link-icons  had the link border around in the Internet Explorer in the default configuration, which doesn't look so good. Further I added a few more configuration options, so everyone can adjust the Server Checker even better to his needs than before. All changes are documented in the changelog.

The Multi Server Checker is successfully running on hundrets of websites now. About time to get rid of the "beta" in the name. The latest version is now "v2.2" ... without beta.

Version 2.13 of the Multi Server Checker is now available. The new version is mainly inspired by the community and features some requested functions as well as some optical improvements. Special thanks go to Pilo and belloq for their icons, which are also included in the update.

Threatcon of MaxOGC.com has adjusted the Server Checker for PHP Nuke, with help from Slaughter and Pilo. The PHP Nuke module is available on the downloads page and on MaxOGC.com.

Another small update today. Because I use the Opera browser, I overlooked that in the Internet Explorer the bottom box of the Server Checker was displayed with some messed up font sizes. This is fixed now in version v2.12 beta.

Multi Server Checker v2.1 beta released:
This new release includes a few bug fixes as well as some new features requested by current users of the Server Checker, like the option to view all attributes of a player as tooltip. Also there are new optimizations for Battlefield 2, like the option to show kills. For a full list of changes, have a look at the changelog.

Multi Server Checker v2.0 beta released:
For Battlefield 2, GameSpy uses a new query protocol, that allows to spread the server information over multiple packets. Multi Server Checker v2.0 beta supports this new protocol, also it displays BF2 server-logos and some other BF2 specific information.
